The Owls Head Transportation Museum

One of the finest collections of pioneer aircraft and automobiles in the world.

More than 100 historic aircraft, automobiles, bicycles, carriages and engines are on permanent display.

The Museum's collection includes 13 examples of carriages and related equipment.

he popularity of the "original" Bronson Wagon encouraged the Brewster Co. to prevail upon Frederick Bronson to allow the Company to reproduce the wagon designed by him around 1898. It was called the Bronson Wagon, and by 1900 became the popular sporting wagon for country gentlemen.
It became the popular sporting wagon for country gentlemen. Its framed and paneled sides were the inspiration for the "woodie" station wagons which were popular from the late teens through the 1950s. Brewster Co. built auto bodies as well. The 1925 Model T and the 1929 Rolls-Royce Tourer are two such fine examples.
